We provide self defense lessons, our system is called ACS - Aggression Control System, tailored to the individuals physical abilities with its foundations in centuries old Ninpo Taijutsu (body methods of the Ninja or Shinobi of Japan) from our Ninjutsu Organization 'Bujin Bugei Kyokai'.
This is a structured simplified certificate system with no belts, no uniforms, no flashy stuff just practical effective self defense. The one on one lessons, natural movement focus accelerates learning, learning to perceive and avoid danger, diffuse a situation, influence an attackers decision making process, find the most effective method of escaping harm and as a last resort how to physically defend oneself with simple highly effective natural moves including use of everyday things like walking frames and walking sticks etc. Suitable for Seniors, Aged Care and NDIS clients as well as Care staff.
The 'NIN' kanji (Character) means Perseverance and Survival.
Set on an Enso (circle), in Zen this is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. Closed it represents perfection or the perfect form but open it allows movement and development or growth, Zen practitioners relate the idea to wabi-sabi, the beauty of imperfection.
In Ninjutsu we consider this 'open' state Shoshin or 'beginners mind' constantly striving for enlightnment, forever learning, always moving forward.
Meditation is an easy natural way of increasing calmness and physical relaxation, coping with some illnesses, improving ones psychological balance, and enhancing overall health and well-being. We can guide you through the sessions, directing you for the greatest results.
We recommend at least 6 sessions to feel any true benefit but can offer ongoing if required.
Mindfulness is paying full attention to what is going on in you and outside you, moment by moment, without judgment. It means you observe your thoughts, feelings, and the sensations of taste, touch, smell, sight and sound. You are also fully aware of your surroundings.
